Park Playdates
Community guidelines
Park Playdates is a small, friends-only space for arranging real time together outdoors. Accounts are for adults planning playdates; we do not store children's names, ages, or attendance.
What we expect
- Use your own identity. Do not impersonate another person or a brand.
- Keep plans and messages respectful and relevant to the people invited.
- Share only photos you have the right to share, including your own profile photo.
- Respect someone's decision to decline a plan, ignore a request, or block you.
Not allowed
- Harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or targeting someone with repeated unwanted contact.
- Sexual content, nudity, or imagery of another person shared without their permission.
- Spam, advertising, recruiting, or using plans to sell anything.
- Using the product to find or contact strangers, or to collect personal information about other people.
- Impersonating a child, a parent, or anyone else to gain access to a plan.
Display names, plan titles and notes, and chat messages are checked against these rules by server-side text filtering, and direct writes that bypass the app are rejected the same way.
Profile photos
A new profile photo is stored privately and reviewed by a person before it appears. Until then your previous photo (or your initials) stays visible. Photos are reviewed within three business days. If a photo is not accepted you can upload a different one, and your current photo is unaffected.
Reporting and blocking
Reporting and blocking are separate actions. A report sends the person and your reason to the operator and never blocks anyone by itself; we review reports within three business days. Blocking takes effect immediately: you stop seeing each other's plans, messages, and Activity, the friendship and any pending request are removed, and unblocking does not restore them. Blocking or reporting from Profile, a friend row, a plan, or an Activity entry uses the same controls.
When rules are broken
- A flagged plan title or note is cleared, and a flagged chat message is deleted.
- A prohibited display name is cleared and the account is suspended.
- A suspended account cannot sign in to the product, use any screen, or upload photos; the person sees an account-status page explaining the suspension.
- We keep a minimal record of the report and its outcome for 90 days, then delete it.
